Fashion For A Cause

Sometimes it's important to remind the world that the fashion industry is not all about fabrics, glossies, lipsticks and appearances. It's made up of human beings with human problems and human thoughts – thoughts which also go out to those who are in need. Fashion For A Cause, a soirĂ©e organised under the patronage of Mrs Michelle Muscat at Girgenti, was put together in order to raise awareness and money for ME/Fibromyalgia sufferers around the Maltese Islands. And while the event was, as always, a conglomeration of fashion flamingos (too soon?), it was eye-opening because it was a demonstration of how fashion, however fickle and superficial it may seem to the general public, in some form or another can, and will, be found everywhere, even promoting charitable causes.

We were joined by Bianca, who looked absolutely INCREDIBLE in her self-made clothes, and Stefan, who was kind enough to take photos of the three of us together.
