We will not apologise for the Mean Girls reference. It is the hub and soul of all relevant quotes and therefore, excusable by its own nature.
Pink. Aerosmith were kind enough to provide us with a whole list of defining characteristics for this evocative colour. This season, it has taken centre stage, from girly, occasionally tacky shade of sugary shock to the soft showstopper of the snowier seasons. Big on alliteration at the moment, can you tell?
Pink is also the name of one of Malta's leading magazines whose target audience is – you guessed it –a female readership. What better way, then, to gather women from all walks of life (bar a 70% sale at Zara) than a fashion show at the Aviation Museum? Big (we mean, BIG) props to the team for holding the show at the Museum, by far one of the more underestimated yet original locations on our island. The runway show featured a number of single-brand looks by various sponsors, ending with the Blumarine collection flown over specifically for the show. A showstopping conclusion by a midnight-clad Jessica Rabbit.
There really isn't much to add, as it was the kind of show that you had to experience first-hand. Enjoy the highlights down below, and also our get-ups for the fashion show-
cum-party.
