Ray Ban sunnies | old Gap shirt | skirt made by myself
It's been a while since my last post; I've been keeping busy... and spending any time off at the beach! One of my latest projects involved making this skirt... my very first sewing experience. With the help of my mum and inspired by
Bianca's own pieces I thought I'd give it a try and I must say it's such a rewarding feeling getting to wear something made by yourself (and a relieving one when, at the end of the day, you realise it hasn't just unraveled and left you standing there butt naked). Here's to more sewing adventures in the future!
Also, on another DIY side note, thank you's are due to Sandro's lovely mum for giving me this old Gap denim shirt a while ago (make that 3 years I think!). I hope she doesn't mind that I grabbed a pair of scissors and chopped the sleeves off, but I think its perfectly wearable and adaptable this way!

Love it Claire! Super well done! I got the same material for a pair of trousers! Haha but haven't got round to sewing them yet. The beach always wins over! Prosit & brava :D xxx
